Safe and convenient data transfers during COVID-19 for Apple Store customers

Apple Stores around the world have stopped doing data transfers in-store because of COVID-19. This is a great move on Apple’s part, because data transfers take time, and enough virus exposure over time leads to coronavirus infection. Standing next to someone in a retail store for long periods of time just isn’t safe.

Fortunately, there’s another way to get your data transfer that’s both safe for your data and safe for your health. If you need a safe, zero-contact data transfer, contact us right away. If you want more info, read on:

You can transfer data from an old Mac to a new Mac, or from an old iPhone to a new iPhone, right in the comfort of your home (or office) with zero in-person contact. I created a process for doing this several years ago, and at the time I had two main goals: Save you time, and save the environment.

If you don’t have to drive to the mall, that’s less time on wasted on driving, it’s also less gas (or electricity) being wasted, not to mention less wear and tear on your car. And because data transfers can take time, why should you sit at the store surrounded by other nervous people during COVID-19? Instead, do the data transfer at home, so you can do other things while you’re waiting for the transfer to complete. It’s a win-win for Apple Store staff and for you.

When I created this process several years ago, it was because I had done thousands of successful data transfers in Southern California, and word traveled fast. Calls started coming in from around the world, so I decided to find a way for do data transfers remotely. As a result, it’s now possible to do the same during COVID-19:

  • Transferring from a “vintage” Mac to a new Mac? No problem.

  • Switching from a Windows PC to a Mac? Absolutely.

  • Want to make sure ALL your settings and applications work after the transfer? Of course.

  • Do you want to protect your precious photos, videos or important files that simply can’t be lost? I will show you how.
